Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your access to https://reelmaro.site and your purchase or use of creative services provided by Reel Maro Creative Inc., a Washington corporation doing business as Reel Maro Creative. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, approving a proposal, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

Services

Reel Maro Creative provides creative and digital production services, which may include content planning, video editing, motion graphics, visual design, and related consulting. The specific scope, deliverables, schedule, revision process, and responsibilities for an engagement will be stated in a written quote, proposal, statement of work, or other confirmed project communication.

Quotes & Payment

Quotes are based on the information available when issued and remain subject to the stated scope and validity period. Additional work, changes in direction, delayed feedback, or requested deliverables outside the approved scope may require a revised quote. Payment amounts, deposit requirements, milestones, due dates, and accepted methods will be stated in writing. Clients are responsible for timely payment of approved charges and applicable taxes.

Client Materials & Usage Rights

You may provide footage, images, music, trademarks, copy, account access, or other materials needed for a project. You retain ownership of your materials and grant us a limited license to use, reproduce, edit, and process them solely to perform the requested services. You represent that you have all permissions required for this use. Unless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for final review and approval before publication.

Intellectual Property

Each party retains ownership of intellectual property created or acquired independently of an engagement. Upon full payment, you receive the usage or ownership rights expressly described in the applicable proposal or statement of work. Reel Maro Creative retains its pre-existing tools, templates, techniques, know-how, and reusable production elements. Third-party assets remain subject to their applicable licenses and restrictions.

Acceptable Use

You may not use our website or services to violate law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, distribute malicious code, impersonate others, interfere with systems, or create unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or abusive material. We may decline, suspend, or end work that presents legal, safety, security, or reputational concerns.

Disclaimers

Services and website content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Creative work involves subjective judgment, and results may vary by platform, audience, distribution, and factors outside our control. We do not warrant uninterrupted website availability, compatibility with every system, or outcomes not expressly included in a signed written agreement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reel Maro Creative Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from the website or services. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid to us for the specific service giving rise to that claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services must be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our services, operations, or legal obligations. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
