Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of personal information held by Reel Maro Creative Inc., a Washington corporation operating under the brand Reel Maro Creative. These instructions apply to information collected through https://reelmaro.site, our services, and authorized Facebook or Meta integrations.

Your Right to Deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected about you. California residents may exercise deletion rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). Individuals in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may request erasure under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), subject to applicable exceptions.

You may make a deletion request whether or not a particular privacy law applies to you. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.

What We Delete

After verifying and approving a request, we delete or de-identify personal information associated with the requester from active systems where reasonably possible. This may include contact details, account or inquiry information, submitted project details, communications, website form data, service preferences, and technical records linked to an identifiable person.

If you connected with us through Facebook or Meta, deletion may also cover information received with your authorization, such as your Meta user identifier, name, email address, profile information, access credentials or tokens, and data generated through the applicable integration. We also instruct relevant service providers to delete covered information when required and technically feasible.

What We May Retain

Some information may be retained when permitted or required by law. This can include records needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, or establish and defend legal claims. We may also retain tax, billing, transaction, and accounting records for legally required retention periods.

Information stored in secure backups may remain until the backup is overwritten or expires under our retention schedule. Retained information is isolated from ordinary business use and remains protected.

How to Request Deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject line Data Deletion Request. In your message, include:

  1. Your full name.
  2. The email address or other identifier used when interacting with Reel Maro Creative.
  3. A clear statement that you want your personal information deleted.
  4. The service, website form, project, or Meta integration connected with your request.
  5. Your Facebook or Meta user ID, if the request concerns data received from Meta.
  6. Any details that will help us locate the relevant records without requiring unnecessary sensitive information.

Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive documents in your initial email.

Data from Facebook/Meta

To stop future access, remove the Reel Maro Creative integration from your Facebook settings. In Facebook, open Settings and privacy, select Settings, then locate Business Integrations or Apps and Websites and remove the applicable integration. Menu names may vary by device or account type.

Removing an integration may stop future data sharing, but it may not automatically delete information previously provided to us. You must also email us using the instructions above and state that the request concerns Facebook or Meta data.

Verification

We may ask for reasonable information to confirm your identity and match your request to our records. Verification is limited to what is necessary. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct confirmation from the individual.

Timeline

We will confirm receipt within seven days. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. If additional time is reasonably necessary because of request complexity, legal obligations, or backup processes, we will explain the reason and provide an updated timeframe.
